Who we are

Martin Frigaard

Martin is passionate about data literacy and open-source technologies. As a Data Visualization Engineer at Atorus, he builds dashboards and tools for making data-informed decisions. Previously, Martin has built statistical tools and dashboards at BioMarin, the Diabetes Technology Society, and other volunteer and non-profit organizations. He’s also a data journalism lecturer at California State University, Chico. Martin was one of the original contributing authors for Data Journalism in R, an award-winning resource hosted by Northeastern University’s School of Journalism. Before obtaining graduate degrees in Clinical Research and Exercise Science, Martin served as a US Army medic in Operation Enduring Freedom.



Peter Spangler

Peter Spangler is a hands-on data science leader with a business-focused approach to building data science solutions and telling stories with data. Experienced in translating business problems into data products using advanced statistical techniques and ML to support decision-making in a variety of rapid growth environments. Scaled data science solutions for user acquisition, retention, channel optimization, revenue, and fraud at Lyft, Alibaba, Citrix and Nextdoor. He is currently the Head of Marketing Analytics Toast.
