Tracking Spending: Sub-Categories

Platforms like Amazon, PayPal, and Instacart can make transactions confusing because they can map to multiple categories (the descriptions alone are ambiguous).

One way to reconcile this is to create a Sub-Category column. Sub-Category can be formatted as free-text or with a controlled list scoped under the parent Category column.
